The United States administration is strengthening doubts about the constructive role of the United States in the world by introducing sanctions against Russia. This was stated by the Russian ambassador to the USA, Anatoly Antonov, whose words were quoted in the Telegram channel of the Russian diplomatic mission.
Commenting on the new package of sanctions against Russia, he noted "the baseless accusations against the Russian Federation of using chemical weapons".
„In Washington they don't seem to understand that Russia and the Russians cannot be intimidated by their decisions. They don't realize that their illegitimate tricks only alienate other countries. In fact, they fertilize the soil of doubts about the constructiveness of America's current role in the world”, the head of the Russian diplomatic mission emphasized.
The United States, he continued, “is trying to intimidate Russia's partners, including China, by trying to block channels for normal foreign trade cooperation”. "They are once again targeting local high-tech, transportation and energy companies, looking to "knock out" from the markets as competitors“, noted Antonov.
„The whole world saw the next “vinaigrette“ of restrictions compiled by the Washington administration. This is an example of the continuation of the numerous Russophobic actions taken by the US in recent days. Among them is a “package“ of several billion dollars of aid to Kiev, supplies of dangerous munitions with a long range to the puppets, promises of some ephemeral security guarantees of the regime“, the ambassador stressed.
